Nirvana Seeds

Cannabis seeds history of Nirvana goes way back to the end of the 1980's. At that time Nirvana's founder was working at Amsterdam's most famous grow-shop, the legendary "Positronics", and it was the knowledge and inspiration that he received there that moved him to think about starting his own cannabis seeds company.

Years were spent travelling, seeking out and collecting marijuana seeds from the finest strains. And more years went in experimentation, growing, cross breeding and developing the new cannabis strains from among which Nirvana selected the best to become their range of high quality hybrid marijuana seeds. After applying and expanding his experience in a number of Amsterdam's best known grow-shops it came time to offer the expertise he had gained, and the high quality products he had developed, to the world. The result of this initiative was the foundation of Nirvana in 1995.

	Durban Poison Durban Poison is an F1 cross of a Sativa strain from a secret garden located just outside Durban, South Africa and a potent, early Dutch skunk. This strain grows tall with huge leaves. The long, tight buds have a slight skunky flavour with a hint of juniper. Durban Poison is well known for its trippy buzz. A great strain for beginners. 	Hawaii x skunk #1 Hawaii x Skunk #1 is the Original Maui Waui crossed with Dutch Skunk #1, a mostly Indica strain. Hawaiian x Skunk produces a strong, physical 'up' high, a relatively smooth smoke and slightly spicy exotic flavour. This plant is generally skinny and round in shape. 	New Purple power In the late 80s the famous import purple strains were very popular to smoke but would not grow so well in the northern European climate. New Purple Power was developed so the qualities of the yummy purple strains could be cultivated successfully in cold and wet climates. Its ancestors are a Thai/Columbian influenced haze and a very early Dutch Skunk. New Purple Power has a unique sweet and sour flavour and is moderate in strength. The buzz is energetic. 	Swazi Swazi is an original pure Sativa strain from Swaziland. Swazi can grow up to 3m tall with huge 13 finger leaves and has long sticky buds. Swazi is moderate in strength and very suitable for light smokers. This strain produces an active buzz and has a unique flavour similar to liquorice. 	Swiss Miss Swiss Miss was originally bred in the Swiss Alps. It's a combination of a very early Skunk and a hearty strain Nepal. It can withstand cool nights and can withstand heavy night-time condensation. With a good resistance to mould. It's a light smoke with a pleasant Skunky flavour. 	Aurora Indica Aurora Indica is an F1 hybrid of Afghan and Northern Lights. Aurora Indica stays short and produces heavy colas. This plant has exceptional resin production and the buds are dense. Aurora produces a deep, near black hash, aroma and a heavy indica buzz. This strain is probably our most potent indica. 	AK48 Since the mid 1990’s “AK” strains have been increasingly popular. Nirvana AK-48 is one of the strongest early finishing strains available anywhere. AK-48 produces hard buds with an exceptional penetrating aroma. It is an Indica/Sativa hybrid yet it retains most of its Sativa qualities in the high. 	B52 This plant is a truly superior Skunk breed that grows some very heavy buds. Ideal for the commercial Skunk grower. As with other Skunk varieties, this one also has a superior and a sweet taste that helps you detect the Sativa influence. A super fast Skunk strain. 	Big Bud This is one of the oldest commercial flowers. The purpose of the big bud is yield. Big, strong flowers with a lot of product. The big bud will flower in 8 weeks with a great skunky taste, and in high quantity. Type Indica/Sativa Flowering 8-10 weeks Yield 500-600g Indoor, Regular £18.00
	Bubblelicious Bubblelicious was developed in the Midwest of the U.S.A. then brought to Holland in the 90’s and further refined. Bubblelicious grows vigorously and finishes flowering in about 8 weeks. Its highly resinous and extra sweet. Certain specimens actually display that distinct pink chewing gum scent and flavour. 	Chrystal Chrystal is a White Widow re-back-crossed with Northern Lights. Chrystal's buds are big and sticky with an almost kerosene-like aroma and a quick hitting high. An F1 hybrid, Chrystal produces outstanding yields of top quality (and top priced!) grass. Much easier to manicure than White Widow. 	Hindu Kush Hindu Kush is another heavy Indica from Nirvana. It was originally one of the world’s true Indica's, brought back from the rugged Hindu Kush mountains. Hindu Kush stays short and has wide, dark green leaves, with dense buds forming on thick stems. The smoke has a musty, earthy flavour and is as heavy as hash is on the lungs. 	Ice With Ice we have successfully attempted to bring quality and quantity together. Ice has ancestors of Afghani, a very special Skunk, Northern Light, and Shiva. An intense selection process of thousands of plants was used in finding this special mix. Ice flowers are richly covered in trychomes and have a dense consistency. Buds form along main branches and there is a high flower to leaf ratio. Fantastic for hydro and soil applications. The stone is heavy and the aroma is almost like fuel.
